Colin Ashford of the Guild of Aviation Artists painted this pleasing view of Gipsy Major Comper Swift G-ABWW which was built for the Prince of Wales in 1932 and flown on his behalf in air races by Flight Lieutenant Edward Fielden who came second in the 1932 King's Cup in this machine. It is painted in Guards colours as also worn by early King's Flight aircraft. This painting can be seen at the 1990 Aviation Paintings of the Year exhibition, organised by the Guild of Aviation Artists.
