eatures DAMBUSTERS 70: FINDING THE HEIGHT Speed, range and height were the critical criteria for a successful Upkeep release during the Dams raid, Operation Chastise. Speed could be controlled by the Flight Engineer manipulating the throttles and the range by the Bomb Aimer using his special sight.
