Cambrian 0-6-0s in Traffic on the GWR. Most of the railways in the nineteenth century adopted 0-6-0 tender designs for their primary goods work, and for some passenger work too. This arrangement continued into the twentieth century, although the advent of eight-coupled engines saw their demise from the heaviest of work on many lines, but not by any means at all
