Front Cover - This is the station on the Manchester Society's " O " gauge layout, exhibited at their recent exhibition. The track has centre third rail electrification at the moment but can easily be converted to 2-rail when the time comes. The footbridge and station buildings modelled on those at Baguley, Cheshire Lines Committee, are excellent first attempts by Barry Peterson, a newcomer to the hobby. In this view a main line express pauses in its journey, whilst on the central through track a " goods " rumbles by hauled by L. & Y. 0-8-0 compound No. 1477 owned by P. B. Booth.
