From the Footplate: When I first joined the magazine I was rather taken back by the lead time accompanying any issue. Slaters (Plastikard) have now taken over the lease of the museum building and have made an offer to Derbyshire CC to save the Millers Dale diorama. They are also moving some of their manufacturing machinery into the remainder of the building to help with increased production. Also seen at the MMRS show was Sidney Weighall who is fast becoming an exhibition celebrity ÃÃ
