From 'The Forest of Dean Central Railway': Taken on the last day of operation on the remains of the Forest of Dean Central, Blakeney coal merchant H.R. Birt's lorry was photographed loading coal from a couple of woebegone wagons. The Francis of London private owner, now a "pool" wagon, had definitely seen better days.
