On the first day of the Winter timetable in 1961, No. 61159 speeds through the North London suburbs as it approaches New Southgate station at 10.19 a.m. on Monday 11 September, 1961, at the head of the 7.15 a.m. from Grimsby Town station, due in KingsCrossat10.30a.rn. 25kV wires are now in place above these railway tracks here, whilst the London Transport trolleybus wiring which, is just visible suspended across the bridge, is now just a memory.
