Our inside front cover, taken on June 3, 1938, shows Short Sunderland I L2160 flying over Felixstowe during fuel jettison tests shortly before delivery to No 210 Sqn
The centrespread photograph was taken by Jon Player/Rex Features and shows lan Stokes flying an Eagle microlight over Cornwall. The Eagle, supplied by Breen Aviation, is operated by South West Airsports Ltd in Cornwall.
