The Locomotives built at the Southern Railway Works - 2 - BRIGHTON Part 1 1871-1906 COVER: The first Stroudley Class 'Al' 0-6-0T to enter service. No 672 Fenchurch and Wainwright SE&CR Class T' 0-6-OT No 753 come down Tenterden bank with a Tenterden Town-Bodiam train on Sunday 6th October 2002. No 672 was on a visit from the Bluebell Railway where it had recently been converted back from 'A1X' to 'Al' condition. It never carried the Duplicate List number 672 in Brighton days having been sold as No 72 to the Newhaven Harbour Company in June 1898.
