This issue includes a Plastic Magic article by Dave Abbott in which he converts the Italeri M.A.S. 568 4a Serie Italian torpedo boat to full radio control and we also have an article from Jimmy Wood about his award winning model of THV Galatea. Jimmy builds his models on the kitchen table without having a sophisticated workshop, so this shows what can be done with skillful hands, good eyes and a methodical mind! Colin Bishop visited the Society of Model Shipwrights 2012 bi-annual exhibition in Orpington, Kent, where some of the best from this model boat building hobby of ours were on display. At the other end of the country, Dave Wooley obtained a special visit together with the curator to view the Glasgow Museums reserve collection and view some of the models that have not seen the light of day for many decades. The complimentary Free Plan presented by James Pottinger is for the WW2 tanker Empire Campden, that was renamed Anonity after hostilities ceased in 1945 and which then continued in service for a further two decades.

We also have the usual regulars of Range Finder, Boiler Room, BMPRS News, Readers' Models, Around the Clubs and more.

Owing to my annual holiday, this issue has been part edited by Colin Bishop, so I extend my thanks to him for his efforts in October. I hope there is something for everyone in this the last issue for 2012, but please remember, our 84 page January 2013 issue follows shortly and is on sale just before Christmas.
